Appeal for information after Easter Sunday robbery

Police are appealing for information after a robbery at an Aberystwyth shop. The Premier Shop on North Parade was targeted at around 20:40 on the evening of Easter Sunday. Dyfed-Powys Police said they were called just after the robbery.

The suspect is thought to be in his early 30’s wearing a grey/blue hoodie, a black ski mask and was carrying a black drawstring bag. He is known to have turned left when leaving the shop, heading towards Thespian Street.

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said:

“Officers are currently seeking a male, described as being between 30-35 years of age, in connection with this incident.

No one was injured during the incident, but the male left the scene with a quantity of cash.

Anyone with any information in relation to this incident is asked to contact police.”
