A hard week for BUCS on the road but a great showing at home has left Aber three places higher in the national BUCS table, moving up to 66th. Congratulations to the Men’s Hockey 2nd team as well for their victory over Cardiff Met 3rd and Aber’s only points away this week.

Elsewhere with Tim/Team Aber Ultimate Frisbee visited Bangor for their annual beginner tournament Bangor Gently. Both their beginner and experienced teams beat their seed in their respective divisions and the freshers fought hard to secure 2nd place.

The Harriers competed in the Twin Peaks Challenge this weekend, taking place along the seafront and includes a scaling of both Pendinas and Constitution hill in it’s 11km course. Aberystwyth Harriers very own Scott Hudspith came out on top and won the race in a time of 44:10. With a PB on the course of 1:05:19, this writer can confirm that it was a well-deserved win.
