What to wear over the Christmas break

Staying in

OVERSIZED jumpers have become the big accessory for this winter. They can be found virtually everywhere, from high street shops to charity shops, in all colours, patterns and textures. Try buying the next size up in a wool or cotton blend for extra warmth.

Just because summer is over it doesn’t mean you have to put away your florals. Adding a bit of colour to your winter outfit creates a more festive look.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without some decorative festive patterns. From snowflakes to reindeer silhouettes, it’s the time of year where you can embrace the Christmas jumper look. At least once a year, we can call it fashionable.

Going out

In appreciation of this festive holiday, incorporate shiny fabrics and textures into your outfits.

Skater skirts are a popular fashion trend this season, following on from the skater dresses we saw earlier in the year. They are very flattering around the waist and perfect for hiding that inevitable Christmas food-baby!

Black boots with the block heel are another big trend for winter. Glitter sequins are the perfect addition to enhance the festivity in your outfit.
