Cyclist collides with car on Penglais hill

A cyclist was involved in a collision today outside the National Library of Wales at roughly 1:00pm today. It appears that the cyclist was travelling down the hill in the direction of town, when he collided with a silver car. An ambulance was at the scene shortly after. The cyclist appeared to have sustained a head injury.  A witness at the scene said “It was awful […] he was covered in blood. He was lying in the middle of the road with his bike next to him. His face was completely covered in blood and there was a puddle of blood on the floor”.
The ambulance took the cyclist away after some treatment at the scene. Police were also seen at the scene following the incident.  There was also some cosmetic damage to the vehicle involved.
